তারা গরারের পাশ্ববর্তী সমগ্র শহরকে যুদ্ধে পরাজিত করলেন| এই সব শহরের বাসিন্দারা প্রভুর কোপানলের ভয়ে ভীত ছিল| আসার সেনাবাহিনী এইসব শহর থেকে বহু দুর্মূল্য জিনিসপত্র দখল করে নিয়েছিল|

While they were at Gerar, they attacked all the towns in that area, and terror from the LORD came upon the people there. As a result, a vast amount of plunder was taken from these towns, too.

They defeated all the cities surrounding Gerar, for the LORD caused them to panic. The men of Judah looted all the cities, for they contained a huge amount of goods.

Asa and his army defeated all the towns near Gerar. The people living in those towns were afraid of the Lord. Those towns had very many valuable things. Asa's army took those valuable things away from those towns.
